Company Statement
We have tried to make this site as simple and easy to use as possible, for those of you who have never bought online before we hope you will take those tentative first steps to becoming a 'cyber buyer' with PHA.
We aim to make this a delightful experience and welcome your comments and suggestions to congratulate us or to make comments so as to improve our site. Please use Contact Us to tell us your thoughts and what more you would like us to do for you.
PHA have been offering travel insurance via the web and launched our first web site in February 1996. We were probably one of the first UK companies to have an internet presence promoting travel insurance at such low cost and have been used as example by others.

What do I need to do before I proceed? All you need is the following
- Dates of travel
- Dates of birth for all insured
You can be assured that the policies on offer are supported by respectable and very experienced 24 hr assistance companies and underwritten by reputable carriers.
Can I be sure the policies on offer are genuine? YES
PHA are members of BIBA and General Insurance Council. As independent intermediaries we abide by the code of conduct for the promotion of insurance products. Your contract of insurance is directly with the insurance company who provide a complaints procedure and comply to the Insurance Ombudsman in the unlikely event of a dispute.We do not store your card details on our site and use a secure encrypted bank approved server to verify your card to enable the generation of your unique certificate. This means that your credit card details are safe from prying eyes.
Are my credit card details safe? YES We will firstly e-mail a confirmation of your insurance. We will post your policy information pack.
Will you post me anything to confirm the insurance? YES You cannot extend cover whilst abroad on a trip policy this is only possible on Long Stay policies.
Can I extend my cover whilst abroad? NO
Hazardous ActivitiesWe regret you will not be insured for any loss of property or damage or personal injury whilst riding on a motor cycle as a rider or passenger. Please note, if you hire a motor bike whilst on holiday, you should take out comprehensive insurance at the time of hire.
Motor Cycle riding - am I insured whilst riding a motor cycle? NO Up to 30 metres with all policies. See High Risk list for a detailed list of activities
Is Scuba Diving covered? YES Each policy will permit you to partake in a range of hazardous activities providing it is not the sole purpose of your trip. Many activities arew included as standard and some are excluded so please ensure you check the "High Risk" list of hazardous activities on the quote or application page.
Am I covered for activities such as water sports, white water rafting and other pursuits? CHECK We regret personal possessions are not covered whilst in a vehicle whether locked or otherwise.
Are personal possessions covered for loss whilst kept in my Car? NO We regret they are NOT covered due to the high degree of claims in the past it is not possible to accept any claims for Spectacles or designer Sunglasses.
Are my spectacles covered under valuables for loss or damage? NO We do not send you unsolicited mail neither do we pass on your details to a third party see privacy statement.
Will I receive junk mail for other products? NO
