The various policies we sell online through our websites can cover the majority of common situations faced by people when going on holiday, such as cover for pre-existing medical conditions, there is even a policy that will include cancellation cover for a non-travelling dependant with pre-existing medical conditions. Cover can also be found for travelling during pregnancy, up to as late as 36 weeks provided that you are only carrying the one child and there has been no fertility treatment of any kind and you have no pre-existing medical conditions, but the cover is limited to emergency medical expenses. Our online policies can also provide cover for a number of sports and other leisure pursuits, although as standard only on an occasional and incidental basis, however the policies including winter sports cover as standard will cover trips where the main purpose is the participation in the specified winter sports, you will need to read the policy wording carefully as each insurer covers different winter sports activities as standard, and the same policy that covers up to 36 weeks pregnancy also covers every sport or activity apart from professional motor sport as standard. There are also policies that you can take out if you have already left your home country, although the level of cover available is significantly restricted compared to a policy you could have bought prior to leaving and they will not cover any pre-existing medical conditions, these same policies are available to any national and any residency.
