CAREFREE WEEKEND BREAKS!!

More and more people are taking long weekend breaks abroad nowadays and half of them do so without any travel insurance according to various research agencies.

It has been reported that approximately 54% of all holidaymakers choose not to take insurance for these short break holidays. This type of holiday is said to be on the increase, as people view it as the cheaper option to the standard fortnight break every summer.

As a result of the trend to travel without insurance, people are finding that a low-cost break can in fact end up costing them hundreds of pounds in additional costs to cover theft, lost belongings or even medical costs.

It’s a classic case on many occasions of “false economy” for the sake of a few pounds, and not as carefree as expected.
